I've spent the last several years doing this work across Washington, DC, Maryland, Virginia, and beyond, and I still find something new to love about every wedding I photograph.

I'm not just a photographer who shows up and shoots. I become part of your day. I learn what matters most to you and your partner, and I make sure nothing gets missed.

A little about me

I'm William Fields — a Washington, DC-based hybrid film and digital photographer and videographer with a passion for people, light, and the kind of moments that don't repeat themselves.

My love of photography started while I was traveling. I found myself reaching for my phone at every turn, documenting the people I met and the places I explored. Eventually, a phone camera wasn't enough. I bought my first professional camera, and I never looked back.

I married the love of my life in 2025, so I understand what it means to stand at the front of a room waiting for the person you love to walk toward you. I know what that day feels like — and that's why I take this work seriously.

  • I am a movie person.  Almost every week you can find me at the movies with a bucket of popcorn watching the latest release. Ask me for a recommendation. I will have one.

  • I started with a phone camera and traveling.  My wife and I love to travel. 15+ countries and counting. Always looking for our next adventure.

  • I am a foodie.  From mom and pop shops to fine dining — my wife and I appreciate great food. Where should we try for our next date night?

  • What am I doing when I’m not behind a camera?  Spending quality time with my wife and our dog.

  • I have four loves in my life.  My wife, photography, movies, and tequila.
